About MAVEN Gallery
MAVEN Gallery was founded by Austin Mann and Esther Havens Mann with a singular mission: to exhibit an array of contemporary photographers, initiate meaningful dialogue, and inspire youth art education.
Located in Wichita's Douglas Design District, MAVEN represents artists whose work illuminates the beauty of creation — from the cosmic landscapes of Babak Tafreshi to the deeply human portraits of Esther Havens Mann, from Reuben Wu's otherworldly light interventions to Steve Wrubel's unflinching American West.
The gallery's program includes rotating exhibitions, an ongoing Kansas Series inviting artists to reveal our home through their perspective, and a growing collection of works available for acquisition.
The Name
A maven is one who understands — who accumulates knowledge and shares it generously. At MAVEN, we believe art is meant to be shared, and beauty is meant to be passed along.
